Following a spiritually uplifting Divine Liturgy, and the induction of three new members, the annual meeting of the Guardians of Metropolia, the newest Central Organization of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA (UOC of the USA), convened recently at the Spiritual Center in South Bound Brook, NJ. Led by Metropolitan Antony and Archbishop Daniel, this gathering marked a significant moment for the entire Ukrainian Orthodox community as they reinforced their commitment to faith, service, and the future of the Church.

At the helm of the organization with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Antony stands the Very Rev. Fr. Andrii Pokotylo, serving as president with dedication and vision. Under his leadership, the Guardians of the Metropolia have embraced initiatives aimed at strengthening the Church and nurturing its core ministries.

One notable addition to their endeavors is the support of the ADOPT A SEMINARIAN pilot sponsorship program. This program underscores the Guardians' dedication to the future of the clergy by providing vital financial support to seminarians, ensuring their education and formation.

Furthermore, the Guardians of the Metropolia have extended their support to the publication of liturgical books, recognizing the importance of preserving and disseminating the rich ecclesiastical heritage of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Central to their mission is the promotion of Orthodox Christian faith and the growth of essential ministries within the UOC of the USA. These ministries include charitable projects, youth outreach, religious publications, seminary education, missions, clergy development, and community engagement.

Through their unwavering commitment to these core ministries, the Guardians of the Metropolia are not only preserving the traditions of the Church but also actively building a stronger foundation for future generations. Their dedication to service and stewardship ensures that the UOC of the USA continues to thrive, both spiritually and communally.

As guardians of the faith, the members of this organization exemplify the values of compassion, generosity, and devotion. Their collective efforts embody the essence of Orthodox Christian teachings, fostering a community bound by faith, love, and service.

In a world marked by constant change, the Guardians of the Metropolia stand as pillars of strength and continuity within the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA. Their commitment to upholding the sacred heritage ensures that the Church remains a beacon of hope and spiritual guidance for generations to come.
